MPEG-1 equals VHS in quality but with less noise and is well suited for fullscreenmode. It is a true 25 fps PAL (29.97 fps NTSC) format.
The sound is of CD quality. MPEG-1 files are rather big so they are not the best choice for websites.
MPEG-1 files are traditionally the best choice for PowerPoint Presentations.
