Preparation is very important when making a DVD Project and will speed up the process.
Duration?
Begin by gathering all video material and calculate the total duration. It is very important to us as it determinates the size of your project and thereby what size of disc we will make: DVD-5 or DVD-9.
In brief; a DVD-5 will fit 1hour and 45 minits and a DVD-9 3 hours and 20minits. This is valid if there is only to be one stereo track.
If you add 5.1 audio you will have to cut the duration by 5 respectively 10 minits.
What kind of material do you have -Formats?
Beta Sp, Digital Beta, DVCAM, DVCPro, Mini DV, VHS?
A DigiBeta is considerably more expensive compared to a VHS. About 300 times more expensive.
For us to be able to calculate and offer you a fare price, we need to know what type of matrerial you have.
The Menues -What will be the use of the DVD?
We can make menues as advaced and expensive as you want. We can also make simple Play-Button menues. It all depends on your needs. You can bring logos, images, sketches and drawings analog or digital.
The more prepared you are the less time and money will be spent.
How many copies do you need?
If you let us do the whole production from start to finish and also the replication (mass production) of your discs, we can give you a very fair price per unit. We can deliver pallets of discs straight to your client within 10 days.
MPEG Production have built up a reputation over the years as a real High-End production facility and we are not prepared to loose that reputation. Be assured that we we do the very best of your material and not let anything pass unless it it 100% to your satisfaction. This goes for the whole production from offer to delivered discs.
